In her capacity as local, national, and trial counsel, she represents a variety of corporate and insurance interests, including those of property owners, service contractors, product suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. She defends clients in several litigation areas involving premises liability, including both premises owners and subcontractors in claims arising from construction improvements. Monica also handles client matters involving general contract analysis, business disputes, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy proceedings. Monica’s litigation work involves cases filed in state, federal, and multidistrict venues and entails defending claims in all phases of pre-trial proceedings, overall case management, strategy, planning, and client communication. In addition to general management of case activity in various forums, she successfully assists clients with positive case resolutions through engagements in early discovery investigation, comprehensive deposition strategies, and favorable summary judgment rulings. Monica has handled matters as a second-chair trial attorney in several phases of trial, including voir dire questioning, expert and fact witness cross examination, and argument of key evidentiary trial motions.
