The Level Playing Field Institute is committed to eliminating the barriers faced by underrepresented people of color in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and fostering their untapped talent for the advancement of our nation. SMASH Academy is their flagship program that empowers underserved students of color through a world-class, culturally competent STEM education program experience. Through SMASH Academy and our supporting programs, they help tomorrow’s STEM leaders develop the knowledge, skills and social capital they need to realize their dreams. Students access rigorous education, supportive mentorship and intentional networking opportunities.
