February 24, 2018 – CODE BLACK was the culminating formal event for the Coalition of Black Excellence Week. Tech companies across the Bay Area came together to honor individuals and nonprofit organizations making a difference in communities of color. 

BET’s own Jeff Johnson was the Master of Ceremony and assisted with honoring the Inaugural Award Recipients: Morgan DeBaun with the Tech Innovation Award, Monique Woodard with the Impact Investor Award, Build with the Nonprofit of the Year Award, and Fam 1st Family Foundation with the Community Champion Award.  See more details about 2018   speakers and honorees on the program page.
