CBE Connect is the Summit’s focus on business development. CBE’s goal for this day is to promote Black entrepreneurs and suppliers and provide companies with an opportunity to diversify their supply chains. CBE will host three events as a part of CBE Connect: the CBE Pitch Competition, Supplier Diversity Fair, and Legal Pitch Day. Each event will take place from 2:00 – 5:00 in San Francisco.

Legal Pitch Day is a program that provides an opportunity for in-house counsel to meet one-on-one with Black outside counsel from top law firms to discuss opportunities to work together.
It is just one component of the Summit organized by the Coalition of Black Excellence (CBE). The Summit, including inspirational speakers, educational and networking events and sponsorship opportunities, will take place February 20 and 21, 2020.

Connecting Black Entrepreneurs with VCs
One of our goals for the CBE Summit is to continue highlighting Black excellence in our black community. If you are a black entrepreneur, you will get the opportunity to go toe-to-toe in a live pitch competition!
Pitch day provides a platform for entrepreneurs of all ages—high school, higher education, and professionals— to present their ventures, receive feedback and start to build relationships with investors and customers!
Participants will be judged by a group of experts as Venture Capitalist or Investors. In addition to our judges the CBE Pitch Day Audience will have the opportunity to choose their winner!
