Monica Williams Monroe currently serves as Partner-in-Charge of the San Francisco office of Tucker Ellis LLP. She practices in the area of complex civil litigation, with a focus on commercial and product liability claims. In her capacity as both local and national counsel, she represents a variety of corporate and insurance interests, including those of technology companies and product manufacturers. Monica regularly handles client matters involving general contract analysis and business disputes, including pre-litigation counseling designed to identify and assess potential risk. Monica is a long-term member of the Tucker Ellis Equity & Inclusion Committee, serving to support minority and underrepresented groups through the implementation of sustained diversity initiatives. She also serves as a Practice Group liaison, helping to mentor the firm’s most senior counsel in their overall practice growth and professional development. She received her undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University in 1998, and earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she attended as a Loyola Scholar and was inducted into the Order of the Coif in 2003.
